Live Out Nanny

Live Out Nanny positions can either be sole charge where both parents are working or shared charge where the nanny works along side a parent.

General Duties:

. Providing care such as bathing, dressing and preparing the nutrition meals

. Helping with washing, ironing, keep the play area clean and tidy

. Organising play dates, outings to the park, library etc…

. Providing activities such as creative arts and crafts, construction play, singing, reading etc…

A nanny is not expected to do any heavy housework,family cooking or any other chores not related to the children.

Standard working hours

. Full time nannies – 8 to 10 hours a day
(M-F, usually 8am – 6pm)

. Part time nannies – hours to be agreed between the family and the childminder

Live In Nanny

Live In Nanny positions can either be sole charge where both parents are working or shared charge where the nanny works along side a parent.

General Duties:

. Providing care such as bathing, dressing and preparing the nutrition meals

. Helping with washing, ironing, keep the play area clean and tidy

. Organising play dates, outings to the park, library etc…

. Providing activities such as creative arts and crafts, constriction play, singing, reading etc…

. Helping with housework if required

Accomodation

Live in nanny requires her own bedroom and bathroom (in some cases they may have to share the bathroom with the children). Occasionally separate accommodation is included as part of the nanny package. Childminder’s room should be furnished and have a television and DVD player, a desk and good storage space. House rules should be made clear from the start and also mentioned in the nanny’s contract. The nanny’s food is provided and paid for by the employer. The employer should detail the types of food that the family normally purchase. The nanny should detail the types of food she likes to eat and if she has any special dietary requirements.
